iPad GISRoam V2.0: First to Support Native Imagery and Elevation
11 Oct, 2010 – Cogent3D, Inc., announces the iTunes App store release of GISRoam™, Version 2.0. GISRoam is an easy-to-use but powerful mobile GIS application for when you are away from your desk and need to collect, review, edit, and colorize Shapefile layers on your iPad/iPhone.
GISRoam 2.0 brings the ability to add your own raster data in the form of images, maps, and elevation data for use in the field when you need to enhance commercial maps like Google Maps or need data when 3G/WIFI is unavailable.
