The event - which includes a conference and exhibition - will attract government, industry and academic attendees interested in dialog, development and the strengthening of the geospatial industry in Latin America. The event will take place August 16-19, 2011 at the Windsor Barra Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.
Dan Abugov, Business Development Manager for NAVTEQ, will be present at the Oracle Spatial Users Conference, one of the pre-sessions of the event organized by AÇÃO Informática, during which he will show how NAVTEQ® content for mapping, analysis, monitoring, geocoding and routing integrates with the Oracle Locator, Spatial and Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer technologies. Mr. Abugov will also give a second presentation at the event to address how businesses can gain a competitive advantage when supported by NAVTEQ’s geospatial content. The session will discuss why companies are opting for the NAVTEQ data and its main benefits.
Alongside the conference, the Latin America Geospatial Forum will also include an exhibition where AÇÃO Informática will demonstrate eSpatial OnDemand GIS, a technology that was created as a web tool to enable users to access the database from anywhere as well as make real-time changes with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service). Utilizing the NAVTEQ map database, eSpatial OnDemand GIS is a user-friendly tool that is simple and intuitive to navigate.
