Netbiscuits Wins Frost & Sullivan 2011 European New Product Innovation of the Year Award

Singapore  - Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company and one of the global leaders in business consulting, has awarded Netbiscuits, a leading cloud software platform for developing, publishing, and monetizing rich web apps across all mobile and connected devices, with its 2011 European New Product Innovation of the year award in Mobile Apps Deployment Platform.

“By converging mobility and cloud, Netbiscuits promises to revolutionize enterprises’ mobile strategy and offers a totally new dimension to effectuate critical business operations on the mobile front,” says Zeff Ibrahim, Research Analyst of the Technical Insight division of Frost & Sullivan.

To benchmark Netbiscuits’ performance against key competitors, Frost & Sullivan analysts have compared the leading market participants and measured performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research based on the following criteria:

  • Innovative Element of the Product
  • Leverage Leading Edge Technologies in Product
  • Value Added Features / Benefits
  • Increased Customer ROI
  • Customer Acquisition / Penetration Potential

The Decision Support Matrix, shown in the chart below, illustrates the relative importance of each criterion for the New Product Innovation Award and the ratings for each company under evaluation.

“Owing to the highly distributed and robust features of the cloud, the platform solution considerably expands the enterprise’s end user outreach and amplifies their market branding”, Zeff Ibrahim continues. “Via the on-demand platform model offered by Netbiscuits, it offers a radical new approach to enhance mobile services’ development and publishing.”

With the burgeoning of smartphones, tablets and other smart mobile devices; end users are consuming more and more digital content whilst on the move. However, the proliferation of these mobile devices has rendered the mobile environment highly fragmented.

“To overcome these challenges, Netbiscuits’ Mobile Cloud Platform was developed to provide an attractive development environment and highly efficient publishing platform”, explains Michael Neidhoefer, co-founder and CEO of Netbiscuits. “Mobile web apps built with Netbiscuits are therefore highly customized, personalized and deliver optimal mobile browsing experience across all kinds of media tablets and smartphones.”

“By leveraging the cloud, our platform is more dynamic and viable, hence escalating business productivity and performance efficiency”, Neidhoefer continues. “That apart, via the cloud, our customers have a greater market reach and gain a significant competitive edge.”

Awarded in the realm of Frost & Sullivan’s “Best Practices Awards” series, the “New Product Innovation Award” recognizes companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

The accolade will be awarded to Netbiscuits in Singapore on December 1st at the Netbiscuits World APAC 2011 event, a networking event for customers, partners and friends of the mobile cloud software platform provider.
