New Kabbee Smartphone App And Website Makes Booking Safe Minicabs in London Easy
LONDON, UK, 23rd June 2011 - Kabbee, London’s first minicab price comparison and booking service launches today. The innovative new service enables people to find a quality minicab wherever they are in Greater London. In an instant, users receive fares from 60 leading minicab companies that allow them to select the most suitable journey by either best price, earliest pick up time or highest user rating. Users can pay by cash, card or, for the first time, pre-paid account.
Kabbee is available as an iPhone app or on any smartphone or computer via www.kabbee.com. An Android app will be launching in July.
To mark the launch, an independent survey of 1,000 Londoners commissioned by Kabbee* found that:

27% have put themselves at risk by getting an unlicensed minicab after leaving a nightclub

20% of Londoners have a strongly positive view of the private hire/minicab industry

Nearly twice as many respondents (32%) think they do not get good value as those that do (18%) from their local minicab service

Only 20% of respondents know how to get a good minicab when out of their local area

*Kabbee commissioned an online survey that looked at Londoner’s minicab habits, usage and perception. The Kabbee survey specifically targeted London respondents and was conducted by independent research company, OnePoll, who interviewed 1,000 respondents in total in June 2011.
