WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

NextAlarm(R) Announces Premier Dealer Program for Resellers

Alarm system and monitoring technology developer NextAlarm Monitoring Services today announced an addition to its VoIPAlarm reseller program.

With the new Premier Dealer Program, dealers are able to have the entire suite of VoIPAlarm services branded with their company name and logo including customer facing websites and smartphone applications.

VoIPAlarm was designed to help alarm dealers and monitoring centers solve the problems alarm systems experience when connected to Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone services. The majority of alarm systems installed in homes and businesses today are unable to reliably communicate over VoIP, as they were designed to work with the specific tolerances and DTMF ranges of older, non-digital phone lines. VoIPAlarm allows these alarm systems to communicate over broadband with the addition of a single, inexpensive adapter, called the Alarm Broadband Adapter. The adapter also works to re-enable alarm communications in installations that are no longer connected to phone lines at all, such as homes whose residents have switched to using cell phones. Unlike other broadband alarm products, VoIPAlarm is compatible with most alarm systems built in the last 20 years, and functions over any broadband Internet connection. As previously announced, many alarm systems connected to the Alarm Broadband Adapter can be remotely armed or disarmed through the smartphone apps or website.

VoIPAlarm also offers dealers the IP video service NextView.

When an alarm panel reports an event through the VoIPAlarm platform, the service provides the customer and authorized dealer with video both prior to and after the alarm event.

The camera's live video and recorded events can be viewed and managed from any web browser, or from the NextView iOS and Android apps.

The new Premier Dealer program allows resellers of VoIPAlarm and NextView to send their customers to a privately branded website to configure and use their service. The iOS and Android apps are similarly branded with the reseller's name and logo. This allows the reseller to keep a consistent brand when offering VoIPAlarm to their customers.

NextAlarm Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Tom Reed commented, "VoIPAlarm has been a large part of our success in the industry. The Premier Dealer program is meant for resellers who value their brand identity and want to give their customers access and control of their systems over branded smartphone apps."

Membership in the VoIPAlarm Premier Dealer program is available now for a nominal fee. Interested resellers can sign up for an informational webinar at http://www.voipalarm.com/webinar.jsp, or purchase products at http://store.voipalarm.com.
