Latest Bluetooth low energy Requirements. Now Available at AT4 wireless

Malaga, Spain - September 1st, 2011 - AT4 wireless, leading Wireless Testing and Certification Laboratory, announces it can already provide all accredited testing services for BLE (Bluetooth low energy) devices.

The Bluetooth SIG has just published the latest version of the TCRL (Test Case Reference List) document. In this last version new testing requirements will become active and mandatory.
AT4 wireless BTQF (Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility) is full ready to provide accredited testing services according to these latest requirements.

Furthermore, AT4 wireless updated its UKAS ISO 17025 Accreditation scope to include Bluetooth low energy (BLE) protocol testing covering all the conformance test cases for Link Layer (LL) and Host Controller Interface (HCI) according to the Bluetooth 4.0 Standard for single-mode and dual-mode devices. The scope has also been updated to include Bluetooth BB, LMP and HCI test cases for both, Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 versions. This protocol testing is provided using the already Bluetooth SIG validated BITE T1212 Test System (developed by AT4 wireless).

AT4 wireless can test now BLE protocol testing. This offering together with our current BLE RF-PHY one allow our BQTF to cover full BLE accredited testing services for controllers, becoming a pioneer laboratory in the Bluetooth market.

“BLE protocol testing has been the latest enhancement included in our Bluetooth laboratory scope and comes to satisfy one of most critical customers’ demand, the fact of becoming also an accredited test laboratory for BLE protocol testing, as well as anticipating the BQTF scope to fully cover latest qualification requirements”, said Jose de la Plaza, Telecommunications Laboratory Manager at AT4 wireless Spain.
