TerraWave Solutions to Debut New Wireless Products at Cisco Live! 2012
TerraWave Solutions®, a Ventev Innovations® brand, will unveil new enclosure and antenna solutions specifically designed to work with the latest Cisco access points (APs) – including the 3502 and 3602 series with built-in CleanAir Technology – at Cisco Live! 2012 World of Solutions Expo in San Diego.
Specifically designed for the Cisco 1142, 3502i and 3602i APs, TerraWave’s new polypropylene bubble enclosures protect an AP from damage and theft in challenging indoor environments, such as gymnasiums and schools. The enclosures are available in white or clear, and can be easily mounted using the pre-drilled mounting holes. The durable polypropylene material is able to withstand direct impact while surrounding the AP with a rugged layer of protection – keeping the AP intact and the wireless network from being compromised.
With the release of the Cisco 3602e AP, TerraWave Solutions developed two new antennas, an omnidirectional and a patch antenna, for deployment in a variety of outdoor applications.
The 2.4/5 GHz 6 dBi Outdoor MIMO Quad Omnidirectional Antenna has four dual-band leads that support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The antenna body is suitable for challenging environments where exposure to the elements is a regular occurrence. This antenna is a redesign of TerraWave’s popular “6 Pack” Outdoor MIMO Omnidirectional Antenna designed for the highly popular Cisco AP 1252.
The 2.4/5 GHz 6 dBi MIMO Quad Patch Antenna also has four dual-band leads that support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. This antenna comes with an articulating mount that can easily mount to a wall or on a pole for multiple mounting options. The antenna radome is designed to withstand difficult environments while providing reliable wireless coverage for critical operations.
