Troy Police Department Offers Crime Mapping App for Smart Phones
The Troy Police Department has partnered with crimemapping.com to offer residents and visitors of Troy information on the latest crime incidents. This is a free smart phone app which can be downloaded from the links below.
Crime incidents are pulled from our reporting database and transposed onto a map centered on the user’s smart phone location. Incident details only include type of crime and general location. Another feature is that users can use this app anywhere in the country to see what crimes have been reported around their current location (the local agency must be participating with crimemapping.com to have their incidents loaded).

At this time Microsoft Windows 8 has not came out with the crime mapping app for Windows 8, however they will be within the next few months.
