IDEXX Presents the New Wireless EliteVision™ Digital Imaging System for Equine Veterinarians

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. announces the newest addition to its line of digital imaging products, the EliteVision™ Digital Imaging System designed specifically for equine veterinarians. Fast and wireless, with state-of-the-art cesium technology and ImageSuite software, the new DR system offers a comprehensive patient view, enabling equine veterinarians to provide their clients with advanced diagnostic services in the clinic or from the field.

“We’re pleased to offer our equine customers a premium solution for digital imaging patient management,” said Penny Guyton, Senior Director and General Manager, IDEXX Digital Imaging. “With the EliteVision’s rugged construction, state-of-the-art capture software and IDEXX ImageBank™ storage, equine veterinarians have superior image quality along with the confidence and convenience of secure image backup. IDEXX is excited to provide this solution with an unparalleled support package, giving veterinarians peace of mind with the services they provide their clients.”

The EliteVision features a unique digital capture plate known for its high sensitivity, reduced exposure time and lower risk of ambient exposure to operators. The wireless system makes it easy to position radiographs by eliminating the need for wires running to and from the plate. The new IDEXX ImageBank™ provides secure, limitless and affordable cloud-based image storage. It’s accessible through IDEXX VetConnect® PLUS, allowing veterinarians to view patients’ images quickly and easily while providing a comprehensive view of their diagnostic results. The EliteVision’s robust support package includes next-day full-system swap, on-site support and an extended maintenance agreement.

See the EliteVision system at the 2013 American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) annual convention in Nashville this December. Visit, or call your IDEXX sales representative for more information.
