Connected Technology is Changing Innovation
With a new generation of connected citizens bringing fresh thinking to the technology industry, the 6th Future of Wireless International Conference will focus on how emerging wireless innovation can deliver significant benefits to societies and economies. Some 400 delegates from around the world will be converging on The Møller Centre and Churchill College in Cambridge on 30 June and 1 July to explore how the wireless industry can be a major force for positive change.
As well as input from leading humanitarian and international development specialists, the 6th annual Future of Wireless International Conference will look at what the next generation of technology experts are doing to improve the sustainability of the earth’s resources, public safety and the improvement of literacy and health across the globe.
The conference also hosts the Innovation Hothouse pitching session, which will showcase the best in next generation technology, from the five winners of the Cambridge Wireless (CW) annual competition - Discovering Start-Ups. The companies presenting in this session will also be exhibiting in the Start-Up Zone of the networking area.
Networking is a key element of the conference, giving delegates the chance to engage with speakers and industry specialists. Dr Finbarr Moynihan, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for MediaTek will be speaking at the conference on the opportunities for businesses to create products that will have a lasting global effect.
