Reverb Networks today announced that they will be a sponsor of the world’s only dedicated self-optimizing networks conference, SON 2014, being held in Amsterdam 1-2 October 2014.

Reverb Networks self-optimizing network system is already in use in live mobile networks, optimizing traffic and performance in one case for a city of around 1 million network subscribers.

“We are looking forward to highlighting the advanced self-optimizing network functionality Reverb has already deployed,” said Zoran Kehler, CEO of Reverb Networks. “Reverb Networks has always been at the forefront of SON IPR, and we expect these capabilities and several more to highlight our SON thought leadership once again.”

Reverb Networks provides centralized self-optimizing network systems that offer fully automatic network optimization, without any need for manual intervention or expensive services projects. Reverb Networks SON systems offer complete flexibility over optimization clustering and objectives, and are also fully dynamic, allowing live updates to optimization goals in real time. With rapid changes in how subscribers and machines use mobile networks, Reverb will be highlighting advances in customer-centric decision-making within the self-optimizing network, enabling the Network-of-One, as well as forward resource prediction that helps estimate where the network will be deficient long before a problem arises.

“We believe self-optimizing networks will evolve into self-managing networks, and that means they should not only be reactive, but also predictive,” said Nicolas Cotanis, CTO at Reverb. “We’ve worked hard to understand the indicators and patterns that allow Reverb Networks SON system to take that next step and we’ve seen very positive results in the field.”

The SON 2014 conference takes place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 1-2 October 2014. More information can be found at
