Innovative sim-skin Now Available in North America Following Success in Europe
Digitech Communications, through its brand bibitel, is now offering its market-leading sim-skin product to the North American market. Following approval by the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”), bibitel plans to market the sim-skin across North America region to those looking to save on their international calls.
The patented sim-skin product is a microns-thin film which sits over a SIM card, reducing the cost of calling overseas from dollars to cents. The device works in any mobile handset and due to its ‘top up’ functionality, users are not tied into lengthy contracts. In addition, the skin is only active when it can make a saving, and causes no disruption to existing contracts in place.
As part of its FCC approval process, bibitel proved its transparency to its customers and the security of its infrastructure. The company offers an easy installation process for its sim-skin and customer support team, alongside the cost saving offered by the product itself.
Shouvanik Chatterjee, CEO of Digitech Communications comments “Following on from our success in Europe, we are thrilled to market our sim-skin to the North American market. We predict that the sim-skin will be popular with North America’s ethnic communities, looking to contact family or friends overseas and businesses looking to conduct international business.”
