WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

ilterWater Debuts eXact iDip

FilterWater.com has built a reputation for providing highly accurate water testing and filtration products and is a member of the Water Quality Association, earning the "Water Store" nickname. The company's new eXact iDip fits perfectly within that reputation and provides accurate results, as well as innovative functionality.

"The water quality revolution is here and the iDip is an integral part of it," says Alex Lysov, VP of FilterWater.com. "Everyone should have one at home or at work to ensure they know what's in the water they're drinking."

The eXact iDip breaks the bounds of conventional water testers, and even previous digital water tester technology by pairing industry-leading technology with smartphone connectivity and a free app (currently available for iPhone users; Android development is in progress).

"This water tester puts extremely sophisticated, accurate water testing technology in the hands of the average home or pool owner, allowing them to ensure their water is of high quality," Lysov explained.

The eXact iDip is a photometer that communicates directly with the eXact iDip app, available free through Apple's App Store. A few drops of water are all that's necessary to start the testing process. Once water has been added to the iDip (pool water, drinking water, etc.), data is sent to the app. Water test strips can be inserted directly into the iDip device, and that information is communicated to the smartphone app. All data can be stored on a smartphone, along with the test date and time for later access, allowing users to track water quality over time, which has significant implications for pool companies and other businesses.

The photometer software can also be updated as new features and capabilities are developed, providing a water testing solution that will remain viable for years to come, combined with one of the lowest price points for a digital water tester.
