NEW FEATURES OF SEASAM TIME LAUNCHED

Seasam House has launched new versions of Seasam Time, a wireless
application development tool and Seasam Application Management Server
(SAMS), a platform for Seasam Time applications. Recent versions consists
number of new features such as SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) support.
It enables the use of existing resources like third party applications
business logic on a Seasam Time application.
Seasam Time is a wireless application development tool which simplifies and
makes the software development process more effective. With Seasam Time one
can develop demanding dynamic as well as easy and simple wireless
applications and run them in a wireless device or with web browser.
Launched features of Seasam Time opens new possibilities to create wireless
applications. SOAP support enables to integrate a wireless application to
complex data systems for example CRM, ERP or Command&Control systems and
take advantage of their business logic. SOAP is based on XML-messages, which
can easily be used to get disparate systems to communicate. SOAP also
enables to add various public web-services to your own wireless application.
Other interesting feature is a support for ICG (Inmecon Content Gateway)
which enables to attach parts of existing html-pages or other documents to
wireless applications. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) ja WTLS (Wireless
Transport Layer Security) support enables secure connections between SAMS
and end user. Seasam Time uses now the latest version of Java Runtime
Enviroment 1.4.1 which improves the usability of the Product.
