AccuWeather Launches AccuWeather.com Mobile for PDA

Personal Digital Assistant users can now get weather
reports and radar maps from the world's leading weather
authority on http://pda.accuweather.com
State College, PA, January 29, 2002 AccuWeather, Inc., the
world's leading commercial weather company, announced today
the release of AccuWeather.com Mobile for Personal Digital
Assistants (PDAs). Available at
http://pda.accuweather.com, AccuWeather.com MobileT
provides weather forecasts designed specifically for PDAs
that feature AccuWeather's highly accurate, detailed,
localized forecasts, high-resolution radar images and
satellite maps.
AccuWeather.com Mobile for PDAs is the first in a series of
new wireless weather products AccuWeather.com Mobile will
introduce in 2002. Additional products will be launched
from the AccuWeather.com Web site offering services for
products ranging from pagers to cell phones.

The new product was developed in response to requests from
AccuWeather.com users for a PDA version of AccuWeather.com
(www.accuweather.com), one of the fastest growing weather
sites on the Internet. Wireless Web-enabled PDA users can
access AccuWeather.com Mobile for PDAs simply by typing in
the URL, http://pda.accuweather.com. The only requirement
is that they use a wireless Web enabled PDA.
AccuWeather.com Mobile offers the most popular features of
AccuWeather.com, custom designed specifically for the
requirements of PDA displays to make it easy to navigate.
AccuWeather.com Mobile offers 5-day forecasts for any of
the 43,000 U.S. ZIP codes a user selects, which include
national summaries; national, regional and state satellite
images and radar views. Radar and satellite views are
updated every 15 minutes to allow accurate tracking of
storm fronts and other weather conditions that may be
headed toward a user's location.
