NotePage's proven technology continues to mobilize businesses and individuals.

(January 30, 2003) - With today's release of version 3.0 of NotePager Pro, companies are able to reduce the amount of time it takes to acknowledge and respond to urgent situations. This automatically improves efficiency, increases productivity and reduces costs.

NotePager Pro leverages the power of the Internet to send SMS and text messages to mobile phones and pagers. NotePager Pro is carrier and device independent. This means it will send to any carrier, phone, pager or wireless enabled PIM.

In a cost saving measure, many telecom carriers are expanding their use of the Internet as a means of accepting messages. NotePager Pro takes advantage of these new capabilities by supporting all of the latest Internet messaging protocols: SNPP, WCTP, and SMTP. The new wizards walk end users through the setup process, ensuring that installation is a snap.

NotePager Pro can send messages to an unlimited number of recipients and allows for sending critical alerts at any time of day, from any location. Sending SMS messages to groups is just as easy as sending a message to a single pager or phone. Messages are intelligently queued and grouped for each carrier so messages are sent during a single communication session, meaning that messages are sent in the fastest, most efficient manner possible.

Preset messages can be sent to a defined group or individual with a single click. Messages can even be scheduled in advance, reminding staff of important meetings. NotePager Pro also supports on-call groups which ensures that the appropriate individuals are notified every time.

In today's environment, security is not a luxury, it is a priority. NotePage recognizes this need, and has incorporated three levels of encrypted password protection into NotePager Pro.

Administrators can accurately track all messages through advanced logging and reporting capabilities. NotePager Pro maintains logs of all messages being sent, so message progress can easily be tracked from start to finish.

NotePager Pro version 3 requires Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP running on a Pentium-class processor. NotePager Pro costs $ 29.95, and may be purchased securely online at http://www.notepage.net. You can download a free fully-functional 30-day trial from the same url.
