ZIM Technologies International Creates Strategic Alliance for Wireless Enterprise Extensions with SAP Integrators

Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – Dr. Michael C.J. Cowpland, President and CEO of ZIM Technologies International Inc., announced today that ZIM has signed a strategic alliance with SAP Integrators, et alia, LLC. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The alliance focuses on the creation and deployment of wireless extensions to corporate SAP installations. The wireless extensions create value by enabling corporate clients pervasive use of the vast amounts of data managed in SAP systems.

Under the terms of the strategic alliance, ZIM and et alia, LLC. will jointly develop wireless notification scenarios that will be licensed to corporate clients using SAP-ERP systems. The scenarios will work directly against the ERP system and further enable each organization to craft additional, or edit packaged scenarios under which actionable notification will be sent to decision-makers and others, according to the business value of the organization. Through this new notification model, a two-way wireless communication vehicle is created to get the right information to the right people, at the right time, and enabling them to act on it as well – all through the wireless medium.

Examples of notification scenarios being developed include: the notification of significant corporate events the minute they occur, such as inventory and production anomalies, daily sales and other financial, production, MRP, human resource, and strategic corporate data. The end result is adding value to corporate data, and improving overall ROI in terms of corporately defined business objectives.
