Intergraph Announces 21 New Partners to the Team GeoMedia Registered Solutions Provider Program

Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions today announced 21 new partners to the Team GeoMedia Registered Solutions Provider (RSP) Program. The RSP program is a partnership framework for independent businesses focused on the development, sales, marketing, and support of geospatial industry solutions based on Intergraph's GeoMedia(r) technology. The program brings together the technology, industry expertise, and professional services of Intergraph and its RSP members. Their purpose is to address geospatial solutions opportunities in the areas of traditional and business GIS and emerging markets such as location-based services.

Introduced in December 2000, the RSP program has been a primary focus in Europe with global program expansion planned for this year. GeoMedia Certified Developers boost customer satisfaction

With today's announcement, 72 individuals within the RSP membership have successfully passed the GeoMedia Certified Developers test and will be receiving certification that verifies their skill for implementing GeoMedia-based solutions on the desktop or Web. RSP program members are required to employ at least two GeoMedia Certified Developers to ensure top-quality application development and delivery for their customers. This certification assures customers that the technical skills, industry knowledge, and collaborative efforts of Intergraph and its RSP program members support the solutions they provide.

About the Team GeoMedia RSP program

The Team GeoMedia Registered Solutions Provider program includes member benefits in three essential areas of business, including, but not limited to:

- Technology transfer - Program members receive exclusive developers software licenses for the core GeoMedia product family including upgrades, updates, and access to pre-release versions. RSP members may also obtain forthcoming GeoMedia-based industry products or the IntelliWhere Genie solution from IntelliWhere, a division of Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions.

- Software development support - Exclusive software development support is provided for core GeoMedia products. This support includes access to the secure Team GeoMedia Web server for developers; a set amount of free software development support by local and/or regional Intergraph experts; free attendance and/or discounts to technical seminars, developers' courses, and development workshops.

- Business development support - Intergraph provides RSP members with local and/or regional sales and marketing coordination and consulting, business planning support, networking opportunities, promotional materials and branding identity, and secure access to a dedicated RSP program Web site.

Team GeoMedia RSP members are nominated and qualified for program membership by a local or regional Intergraph office. Selection for the RSP program is based on business achievements and goals, GeoMedia technology experience, and track record in the geospatial solutions market.
