Seattle, WA, March 5, 2002 This March, you can be the hit of your office
pool with the help of the "Nothin' But Net" college basketball game, which
gives immediate access to up-to-the-minute statistics, scores and highlights
on your favorite teams right on your cell phone.
Mobliss, Inc., a leading wireless media company, has partnered with ALLTEL,
the nation's seventh largest wireless company, to produce "Nothin' But Net,"
a bracket game designed for fans that want to closely follow the tournament
and enjoy the challenge of pitting their skills and knowledge against other
players. As the tournament heats up, you can get updated scoring alerts for
each game; track the scores and performances of your favorite teams; compare
your picks to those of other fans; and get a chance to predict the ultimate
winner.
"Nothin' But Net" will be available in early March on Web-enabled cell
phones to customers of "Web Unwired," ALLTEL's wireless Internet service.
The game will automatically show up as an option for these customers, and
there is no additional charge to play the game. Individuals can also enter
online at . Users can set up a profile for
the types of alerts they wish to receive, including alerts for particular
teams, specific games, and the championship final.
Winners will be eligible for various prizes including a grand prize of two
recliners, a big-screen high-definition TV and free pizza and soft drinks
for a year.
