This terminal has been designed for fleet management, automatic location of vehicles, emergency and theft, telephony, in-car telematic nodes, positioning services, etc.
Its main technical characteristics are: GPRS, Class 8 (4+1), GSM dual band 900/1800, ARM7 nucleus with a process capacity of up to 60 MIPS, LinuxOS and 1 Mbyte for customer’s application, integrated GPS, TCP/IP Stack for transparent connection to Internet, Interfaces: RS232, RS485, CAN, Audio, analogical and digital I/O for generic use, reduced size and an optional integrated safety battery. The application software can be downloaded over a portable terminal.
On the other hand, the owa22l is a remote terminal for industrial applications, designed to be integrated in data wireless applications as a natural extension to a local network (LAN).
