Folks,
I am working on providing location senstive content/services to mobile
devices (in this case only WAP-based microbrowsers).
I would like to know
a) What standards already exist to define & transfer geo-coded data between
systems (for example a content provider and a mapping software solution)?
b) Which location/mapping providers presently provide a good WAP interface
for content delivery? Ideally speaking I would like to provide the geo-coded
location to mapping software provider, and in return know for example how to
get there from another location -- or use the information to know what is
nearby.
