Subject: Re: MobileLBSList: about the wml gateway
Date:  08/23/2000 09:09:13 PM
From:  Ryan Fife

A WAP gateway *can*, but it is not required to. There are some companies
that are combining WAP gateway/application server functionality - nokia,
mi4e, and I'm sure others...

http://www.nokia.com/corporate/wap/gateway.html
http://www.mi4e.com/

Nokia combines a WAP gateway and a Java Servlet Engine,
mi4e's ThunderWAP product makes IIS a WAP gateway...so you can develop in ASP.

Hope this helps!!
