I've seen GeoML mentioned a couple of times on this list and have visited
the OpenGIS (http://www.opengis.org) site for information. I'm interested
in knowing what vendors are currently supporting this application of XML in
the field. I can understand the importance of data interchange standards
for the sharing of large amounts of spatial data but does this specifically
apply to wireless location-based services? Not to simplify, but aren't we
just considered with an X-Y-Z coordinate or is there much more to this than
meets my simple mind? :-)
