Helen,
the source is essentially our research of public information
in Japan and elsewhere through our contacts (we are a high-tech
consulting boutique in Tokyo/Japan working in the areas of
wireless internet, venture startups, telecom etc).
For example, we have good contacts with various mobile
carriers and other companies in this area, and know the
numbers of WAP subscribers in Germany, Italy etc,
and we also know WAP subscribers in Japan, Korea etc.
We determine the percentages from the subscriber figures
which we research from the various carriers and other
sources.
