Sorry for the misunderstanding.
The percentages are not in terms of local population but
refer to the global distribution of WAP users, i.e.
55% of WAP users live in Japan, 31% of WAP users live in
Korea, 13% of WAP users are in Europe etc.

I did not mean that 55% of Japanese people use WAP!
(Actually approx. 3% of Japanese people are WAP users,
which is also astonishingly high!)

Please let me know if I am wrong!
