The R520 (GPRS, Bluetooth, WAP 1.2.1) will be shipped in higher volumes to
developers during the upcoming months. Sign up at
www.ericsson.com/developerszone to get it.
At www.mobileapplicationsalliance.com, one can sign up to run applications
in GPRS emulators in MAI labs, which is the entry point to get connected
with mobile operators. This solves the problem of marketing the applications
to some extent.

I don't think that there are any WAP 1.2 compatible phones
around at the
moment. But most GPRS phones should support WAP 1.2.
Have a look at

listing of the different devices (not complete)....
of have a look at the ericsson website... they will
introduce WAP 1.2 at the
beginning of next year. The T36m will have HSCSD and WAP
1.2.1. Also, the
R520m will support GPRS and WAP 1.2
