I was wondering if the following configuration is possible and already implemented somewhere to test WAP applications locally. *Nokia WAP Server installed and running *Connect a GSM to the built-in modem *Access the WAP Server by calling the attached GSM The WAP Server works currently fine if I test it locally with the WAP Toolkit. We are planning to test this configuration live by placing the WAP server into the DMZ and connecting through our ISP. Thinking about the DMZ hassle and possible reconfiguration of the firewall and IP address the above configuration was "invented". The problems I see with the described configuration are the following: *How is the connection between the modem and the WAP Server established ? The modem must know somehow that incoming calls should be redirected to the WAP Server. *How many incoming calls can the attached GSM handle in parallel ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stefan Lecho - Internet Application Developer Wireless Technical Contact ICON Medialab, Brussels +32.2.506.23.31 http://www.iconmedialab.com <http://www.iconmedialab.com/>
