Does anybody know what the real characteristics of location update frequency
will be over a wireless link? I'm considering the case where a network
assisted GPS is embedded in a cellular phone. Does snaptrack support service
initiated as opposed to user initiated positioning? How often do we expect
people to user initiate location based services per day? How often can we
expect location based services to initiate themselves?
I would really like to get your perspectives on this, including heuristics.
