Hi,
Does anyone know of any products other than Ericsson's 'Mobile Position System' that have an API which you can use to ask: "What is the lat/lon of this phone?". I guess "LCS Server" is the term for such a product? I'm mostly interested in 'network based' positioning products.
The companies that I'm aware of are: 1) Ericsson - I'm using their MPS emulator. 2) Cell-Loc - As far as I can determine, there's no API or emulator for their LCS Server. 3) XYPoint - They too don't seem to offer an API or emulator for their LCS Server.
Thanks, (I'm trying to write a little test fleet tracking application). -John
