Hello, I wonder if anyone has any opinions on this:
here's the scenario
Looking to develop a wireless LAN network. Presently we have only has one fibre connection to the LAN. There is no cabling to the individual rooms and I would like to connect the rooms to the LAN by means of a wireless system. However, we do not want to get involved in the reconfiguring of Laptops to install wireless cards. We are therefore looking for a solution, which allows for the use of the existing LAN card in the Laptop, by the means of some type of remote transmitting unit, which is connected, to the Laptop via an Ethernet cable. This transmitting unit transmits back to the standard wireless hub connected to the cable network.
Any suggestions?
Cheers glenn
