Hi,

D is Data
Nextel is the name of a company in US who provides a unique multi-bearer
service, similar to Tetra, which btw is another emerging mobile technology
PDC is for personal digital communication PDC-P is for PDC-Packet
GPRS is for GSM only, though there is a migration from some of US's TDMA
operators (ie: Verizon and AT&TW)

cheers,
rob.c.
